First week update ....

Tuesday 8th September – Katrina and Rachel meet for the first time on a soft play area in Rayleigh (we had to keep the kids amused so we could talk) to thrash out an agenda for that night’s team meeting

Saturday 4th September – Katrina opens her house up to receive donations. By lunchtime her shed is full.

Thursday 3rd September – Kat calls Rachel and spends the day promoting herself as donation hub for Leigh-on-Sea and surrounding area.Wednesday 2nd September – Side by Side published in The Independent article ‘5 Practical ways you can help refugees trying to find safety in Europe’
