Ian Shaw - My Brother

This is Ian Shaw, a British jazz musician, record producer and stand up comedian. He wrote the song 'My Brother' about the situation in Calais, and all the money raised goes to and money raised goes to support Side by Side's efforts in delivering aid to the refugee camps in Northern France. We are hugely grateful for his support.

 

The video includes footage showing the daily lives of refugees who have fled unimaginable horror, highlighting their bravery and sacrifice to have made it this far. There's also a message from Ian sharing our collective sorrow at the situation in Calais, highlighting the lack of support from our government. But this is also a message of hope, as people from all around the world are coming together to make a difference, working hard so that one day these refugees will be able to live safe, happy lives once again.
